«o» In Afghanistan the Koran burning riots continue unabated even as the end of the work week comes and there will be people who did not previously have a chance to vent their rage in the streets. The UN, NATO and Western forces are 'restructuring'... Meaning they've abandoned any civilian liaison roles in the country. Get this... We've lost the war on Afghanistan to re-make it in the Western image, and all that's left is to kill people.
«o» Canada is ready to go ahead with their portion of the KeystoneXL pipeline. The route will bypass Nebraska, which vehemently resisted the pipeline through that state. Current routing plans and more follow.
«o» The Republicans will hold their Michigan and Arizona primaries today. Mitt Romney is expected to win in Arizona, but will he take his home state?
«o» Syria has resumed strikes on Homs in the aftermath of a Constitutional referendum vote which passed by a large majority.
The new arrangement, which the expat Syrian National Congress and it's Western backed (Saudi proxy army for a start) 'rebels' reject, looks like this:

"Syrians ratified a new organic law today with 89-percent voting for, and 9-percent against, the proposed constitution, Syria’s Interior Ministry reported. Just over half the eligible electorate participated in the referendum, which will realize several structural reforms in the constitutional makeup of Syrian government."
«o» Even as China bans Monsanto GMO rice, in this country 27,000 organic farmers are suing the company in a mass litigation over their organic farming rights.
