Egypt - The Million Person March hasn't happened because the roads, the railroads, and the buses going to Cairo have been shut down. There are 20 million people in Cairo but it's suspected they're hunkering and bunkering despite the fact that the Army has said IT WILL NOT attack protesters. Meanwhile Hosni Mubarak isn't in Cairo either but in Sharm El Sheikh near the Jordanian border, albeit Jordan is in turmoil as King Abdullah has fired everyone and will announce reforms and appoint a new cabinet.
U.S. Foreign Diplomacy - The US Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman is leaving his post. He has announced plans to run in the next US presidential elections.
Haiti - Conditions are still atrocious but Jean Paul Aristide, the last (Socialist) president legitimately elected and then forced into exile by a Pentagon commanded US JSOC team, is back in Haiti, and unlike Baby Doc Duvalier who recently returned and was told to leave, has been welcomed back by what-passes-as-the-Haitian-government.
ObamaCare - A federal judge in Florida has ruled that the federal government can not require citizens to purchase health care (from private companies). That's two for ObamaCare and two against. The decision leaves a government proscribed and regulated "Single-Payer Option" as the ONLY option. It WILL go to the US Supreme Court perhaps to be heard by next fall. More on the potential fallout in the commentary.
Batten down the hatches - There's a major winter storm brewing from New Mexico to Maine to Chicago.
