Santa Cruz California police first in nation to try mathematical model to predict crime(Editors Note: SCPD's media overexposed media representative Zach Friend a crime analyst? Boy oh BOY.. Not only is he the PD's spokesman but he's a "detective" and their "Crime Analyst" as well. Not something anyone sensible would care to admit, considering SCPD's '85% of homicides unsolved' record. He keeps close company with current Santa Cruz mayor Ryan Coonerty. You MIGHT say they're "partners in crime" [Snicker...])

The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed 8,000 people."But pulling these quotes out of context, as we like to do, misses the reprehensible context of the speeches in which they originated...
