The war is over (NOT!) - All US troops are staged to pull out of Iraq now, but 50,000 troops called "advisors", twice that number in military contractors' and the LARGEST embassy ever built, will still remain.
The last Dutch troops will be out of Afghanistan by the end of this month, but it took the collapse of the Dutch government to accomplish it.
The Arizona Immigration law won't be heard in appeals court until November, which pretty much settles the status of the law for the rest of the year.

There's MAJOR flooding in Northwest Pakistan and in Waziristan as the Khyber Pass and road between Peshawar Pakistan and Kabul Afghanistan closes. Those are our two largest supply routes in the Afghanistan war.
In Kashmir there have been protests and riots over the earlier killing of protesters but when they torched a building with explosive in it, 35 people died... as torrential Monsoons continue in the region.
Democratic Congressman Charlie Rangel has 13 charges of 'ethical violations' filed against him, and most are ridiculous. Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters, another African American Democrat is also being investigated, while Senator John Ensign, under multiple counts and who obtained his mistress's husband a government job, is not being investigated.
