«o» Another war disappears from our news media as NATO "ends it's mission" in Libya. The only government with an active and known military relationship now will be France.
In other Libya news, a new Prime Minister has been chosen, and YOU KNOW he wasn't elected by popular vote:
Abdurraheem el-Keib, a dual U.S.-Libyan citizen and a longtime professor at U.S. universities, was chosen by the members of Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) as the country's new prime minister. He reportedly received 26 out of 51 votes of the NTC members, and will replace Mahmoud Jibril, who resigned following the declaration of Libya's liberation on Oct. 23.«o» President Obama is headed for the G20 conference in the French city of Cannes, where the most likely topic of discussion will be the European debt crisis. Will they get #Occupied? Stand by but check on the internet, because the media will entirely ignore any such actions... even when tens of thousands of people are in the streets. How they do that, and more importantly WHY these protests are ignored speaks reams of newsprint in itself.
Keib is a native of Tripoli, and earned a PhD at North Carolina State University in 1984. He then served as a professor of electrical engineering at the University of Alabama, and went on to work at The Petroleum Institute in the United Arab Emirates.
Keib was hailed as a technocrat by his NTC colleagues, and laid out a plan for the next eight months that focused on restoring stability to the civil war-torn country, and establishing control over Libya's disparate militias. [In Full with links]
«o» The US congressional Cat Food "Super-Committee"... The twelve senators and congressmen who are expected to come up with an Austerity Plan cutting approximately $5.1 TRILLION dollars from the United States overall budget over the next ten years hold it's first public hearing today, with nothing being brought to the table and enforced budget cuts of an even more draconian nature due to take place on November 21.
«o» It's day three of the Herman Cain Republican presidential campaign dissolution over a sexual harassment scandal. Cain is most likely an EX-presidential candidate, no less the frontrunner.
«o» Syria has begun mining (ie. military ordinance) it's border with Lebanon ostensibly to prevent gun and drug smuggling but it's more likely to be a defensive move to prevent an invasion by UN or NATO forces in a manner similar to what has just occurred in Libya... over the only border available to those troops. Lebanon says it's cooperating with Syria despite claims that Syrian protesters (or perhaps the armed elements of the Syrian revolt) are being kidnapped from Lebanon.

It's always good to be VERY wary of anyone taking action in the name of "Anonymous".
For instance: "Anonymous targets deadly Mexican drug cartel Los Zetas" appears to be targeting the same folks in Mexico the US government is after, while BOTH parties are letting, at least the Sinaloa Cartel, if not the Gulf cartel, alone.
One of those two cartels was the recipient of a large quantity of weapons that the ATFE ALLOWED to be smuggled into Mexico on the pretense of tracing, and never did do that.

Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer said top-ranking officials at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) should have taken action when he told them about controversial “gun walking” used in a gun-tracking operation.
Testifying before the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on crime and terrorism on Tuesday, Breuer attempted to take a large portion of the blame for allowing the tactics to be used in Operation Fast and Furious, saying that he regretted not taking more action.
But Breuer — the highest level Justice Department official to admit to knowing about the “gun walking” tactics before the press exposed them — stressed to the committee’s ranking Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley (Iowa) that he failed to inform Attorney General Eric Holder about the controversial methods because he had told ATF leadership of the potential problem.
Before Tuesday’s hearing, Breuer acknowledged knowing that the ATF used “gun walking” — the practice of allowing criminals to take possession of firearms — in a previous operation, Wide Receiver, under President George W. Bush’s administration from 2006 to 2007. [More Details]
It appears whoever called this action is too stupid to know what side is what or they work for the US government and it's interests.
The reason I claim this action by people claiming to be "Anonymous" is a CIA or other US agency Hack operation is because it dovetails perfectly with the ongoing US government's disinformation operation designed to a create a rationale for a war on Iran using this discredited piece of trash:
"An Iranian living in Texas has been accused of a plot to kill the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the US and attack embassies after a DEA agent in Mexico allegedly discovered that a Zeta drug gang member had been approached to do a 'hit' on the ambassador. (source)".Most people in the know saw this as a joke when it first appeared in the press, and indeed, the US government back-tracked, hemmed, hawed, and let the story settle into the nothingness that it really was. But in the background... despite it's total lack of veracity, the story has it's usefulness.
A friend of mine had a question:
"but how can we tell who's whom?"
The answer is simple:
You can't... But you CAN follow Rule #2 (Rule #1 being 'follow the money')
'Who stands to gain?'
