» In Afghanistan there are several new areas of conflict in the Uzbek North and Central Kabul had a military installation attacked... the attack lasted for hours.
» In Karachi Pakistan there has been a hit on the Pakistani naval base. Several vessels have been sunk and a fuel depot burned.
» President Obama is in Ireland on the first of a four nation five day tour. He'll visit the village one of this great great relatives came from (Not Muslim... Black Irish buddy!) and then to London where he will sign a 'compact' on national security council coordination with England.
» Speaking of Britain, the last five thousand troops come home this week leaving Basra in the hands of the Iraqi navy.
» There was a tornado overnight in Joplin Missouri leaving ninety confirmed dead and the town essentially demolished.
