» The conviction of Amanda Knox, imprisoned in Italy for allegedly killing her sex partner while having 'kinky sex', has been overturned on multiple grounds of prosecutorial malfeasance and mis-management. She will return to the U.S. shortly.
» The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected an Ohio judge's demand that he be able to display the Ten Commandments in his court room. This decision strikes a number of similar cases from the court's docket as well leaving them free to take briefs and hear the issues surrounding whether ObamaCare, which forces citizens to pay into PRIVATE health insurance, is constitutional. That decision is expected around the time of the presidential election campaigns.
» New York Transit Workers, whose union supports the #OccupyWallStreet protest in the city (and it's spreading), say there will be NO MORE COMMANDEERING of their equipment (ie. buses) by the NYPD to transport prisoners captured during the ongoing demonstrations.
» Congress has returned and the nation is in peril - The first order of business will be a continuing resolution to keep the federal government's lights on for the rest of the month and two weeks into November, with no budget in sight, meaning they'll have to do this again at thast time... as has been the case for the last 2 years.
» Russian Premier Putin is planning to create a "Eurasian Union" for furthering trade and customs relations with their former satraps.
