In The News: Before the news, brought to you this morning by KVMR radio Nevada City California Earth, Trevor Rhone, the man who wrote the play "The Harder They Come", made famous as a movie starring Reggae Great Jimmy Cliff, has passed... A short tribute, and more from The Gleaner, and The Observer, Jamaica.

The so-called terrorists arrested in New York for plotting... something... are appearing in court this morning, all three charged with making false statements to the FBI, and that's pretty much ALL the FBI has ('Word', from the 60s... If the FBI asks you a question, they ALREADY KNOW the answer."). Mr. Zazi traveled to Peshwar Pakistan recently... Pakistan is a US ally.

Letters from SEVEN CIA directors to president Obama all ask the president to call off the Attorney General's investigation of criminal acts that may have occurred when their operatives AND PRIVATE CONTRACTORS tortured suspected terrorists.

Onion News Network on what the rest of America's workers have to look forward to when their three (four... five?) non-eligible part-time jobs disappear:
There has been a 6.3 magnitude earthquake in Bhutan... Where everything is built on the mud of the Himalaya foothills, a nation on a long sloping mud hill... Details are still coming in but there appears to be at least eight dead so far.

In other international news... While FauxNews headlines "'Special Report' Panel on Iran's Nuclear Ambition", Iran's Khamenei repeats, for the global community to hear, "We Fundamentally Reject Nuclear Weapons"
The USG Open Source Center translates Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's Eid al-Fitr Sermon, in which he categorically rejects the idea of Iran ever developing, possessing or using nuclear weapons.
